Our Mission:

"The Mission of the Idaho Committee for ESGR is to gain and maintain support from Idaho private and public employers for the men and women who serve our nation in the National Guard and Reserve forces through demonstrated participation in ESGR programs"

Our National Guard and Reserve troops play as important a part in the defense of our country as they do in the performance of their civilian jobs. Today, these forces total over 1.3 million service members and represent over 50% of the total U.S. military. As the Active Force is downsized, our citizen-soldiers play a more significant role than ever before. Therefore, employer cooperation and understanding is imperative - especially when an employee is called upon to serve.
